SELLION LLC · PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
1. Who we are
Sellion is operated by Sellion LLC. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information through the Sellion field-sales application, related services and getsellion.com. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@getsellion.com.
When an employer or another organization provides your workspace, it controls the business records it submits and the access it gives its members. We process those records to provide Sellion. Requests about organization-controlled records may require coordination with that organization.
2. Information we collect
Account and settings: your name, email, profile image where provided, company membership and role, authentication/session information, time zone, scheduling preferences and integration/notification settings.
Visit and workspace content: audio you choose to record, transcripts, customer/contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, business or service addresses, provider relationships, notes, AI outputs, corrections, accounts, opportunities, tasks, meetings, follow-up drafts and files you select as attachments. This content may concern people who do not have Sellion accounts.
Connected-service information: Google identity details, authorization tokens and, when you connect optional features, relevant Calendar and Gmail information as described below.
Website and support information: the details you provide when requesting a demo or contacting us, including name, email, company, team size and messages. Website and infrastructure providers also process technical information such as network addresses, browser/device information, request logs and site-usage information to host, operate, measure and troubleshoot the service. Session information or other local storage may be used where needed to operate the app or website. Browser/device controls can limit local storage, but some features may then not work.
3. How and why information is used
Information comes from you, your organization, recordings and files you choose to provide, and services you authorize. We use it to authenticate users, enforce workspace permissions, record/transcribe visits, extract and preserve reviewed details, organize accounts and opportunities, generate summaries and plans, prepare follow-ups, perform confirmed actions, deliver configured service communications, respond to demo/support requests, improve the product and investigate errors or abuse.
We may review field conversations, transcripts and related outputs for quality assurance and development—for example, to improve capture accuracy, extraction, formatting and how information is presented in the app. Authorized personnel may review relevant content for these purposes. This review is not the same as training or fine-tuning a general-purpose AI model. We do not use Google-connected data to train generalized or foundational AI models. Any future materially different use would require updated disclosures and any required authorization before it begins.
Only record or provide information you have permission to collect and share. Provide legally required notices and obtain required participant consent. A microphone permission or an in-app recording acknowledgment does not establish another participant's consent.
4. Transcription and AI providers
Deepgram processes audio for transcription. OpenAI processes relevant audio in some fallback paths, transcripts, your messages and app context for AI-assisted features. Asking Sidekick about internal accounts can involve this processing even without public-web research. Public sales research uses its separate research conversation rather than automatically including CRM records or regular chat history; do not put private customer information into a public research query.
Selected email attachments are stored for the reviewed email workflow and are not automatically added to AI prompts by that attachment feature. Providers process information under their applicable arrangements and policies; we do not promise zero provider retention. AI output can be incorrect or incomplete. Review details, recipients, dates and proposed actions before relying on them or confirming a change.
5. Google information and Limited Use
Google sign-in supplies identity information, such as your Google identifier, name, email and profile image, to authenticate you. Sign-in is separate from optional Calendar/Gmail access.
If you connect optional Google services, we store the granted scopes, connected email and access/refresh tokens needed to provide those features. Calendar access reads calendar lists and relevant event information to check availability/conflicts and create or update meetings through supported reviewed workflows. Relevant data can include event title, date, time, time zone, duration, location and attendees. Saved meeting information may be linked to an account, shown in Sellion's meeting views and used as relevant assistant context.
Gmail access supports sending follow-up email you review and confirm, including recipients, message content and selected attachments. Drafts are stored in Sellion. The current connection also requests a Gmail compose permission, but the current email workflow does not read your inbox or manage Gmail-hosted drafts.
Sellion's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google data is used only for the permitted, user-facing features described here. Transfers are limited to providing those features with your consent, security purposes, legal requirements, or a permitted business transfer with the required prior consent. Human access to Google data is limited to your affirmative agreement to view specific data, necessary security or legal purposes, or permitted aggregated/anonymized internal operations. The field-conversation quality-review purpose above does not grant unrestricted human access to Google data.
We do not sell Google data, use it for advertising or credit/lending decisions, or use it—including aggregated, anonymized or derived information—to train or improve generalized/foundational AI models.
You can disconnect optional Google services in Sellion and revoke access in your Google account's third-party permissions. Disconnecting in Sellion removes stored optional-service credentials; use Google's controls to revoke its grant. Identity sign-in is separate. Disconnecting does not recall sent messages or remove created events, recipients' copies or records already saved in Sellion. Contact us for requests concerning those saved records.

6. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell customer data. Authorized members of your workspace can access information according to organization roles and application permissions. Service providers receive the information needed for their functions: Google for sign-in and integrations; Deepgram/OpenAI for processing described above; Railway and MongoDB-based storage for backend hosting/storage; Postmark for configured transactional communications; and Framer for the website and demo forms.
Messages and invitations are shared with selected recipients through the relevant workflow. We may disclose information where necessary to comply with law, address security/abuse or protect people and the service. Information may be transferred in a merger, acquisition or business transfer, subject to applicable law and the additional restrictions and consent requirements for Google data.
7. Retention, deletion and account closure
Server-side records and authorization information, as well as device audio, recovery data, drafts, session information and preferences, can be retained. Retention depends on continued workspace use, information type, user/organization instructions, service/support/security needs and legal obligations. The current service has no single automatic deletion period for every data category.
In-app deletion controls remove the records covered by those controls. Deleting a visit/account or detaching an attachment may not erase every related audio/file copy, log, cache or backup. For broader deletion, account closure or export, email support@getsellion.com, identify the relevant account/workspace and describe your request. Do not send passwords. We will verify identity/authority, coordinate with the relevant organization where needed, and explain any lawful exception, technical limitation or remaining copies. Disconnecting Google is not deletion of all Sellion or Google records. We do not promise instant erasure or a universal retention period.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
You can review/correct supported fields, manage available settings, decide whether to record or upload files, and disconnect/revoke integrations. Contact support@getsellion.com for access, correction, deletion, account closure, export, or questions about use of your information for quality review. Applicable rights depend on location and circumstances. Requests may require identity verification and are handled subject to applicable law, organization responsibilities and lawful exceptions.
9. Security and international processing
Sellion uses authentication and application access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security. Information may be processed where we and our providers operate, including outside your country. This policy does not represent that data stays in a single country or claim end-to-end encryption or a particular security certification.
10. Adults and policy changes
Sellion is intended for users aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. Do not create a Sellion account if you are under 18. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information, so we can investigate and address it. Users should not intentionally submit children's information in recorded content or files.
We may update this policy and will show its updated date. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate website or service notices and, where required, renewed consent. Changes to Google-data use must also comply with Google's disclosure and consent requirements.
